DESCRIPTION: Appearance testing means confirming the number of chips received, inner packaging, humidity indication, desiccant requirement and proper outer packaging. Next, individual chips are inspected for appearance, including: chip typing, year, country of origin, recoating or not, pin condition, repolishing traces, unknown residue, and location of manufacturer's logo.
Application: According to the relevant testing standards, determine whether the chip is brand new, whether it is refurbished, whether the pins are tinned, oxidized and so on.
